Figures:
Akiba Hobby has posted images of alot of new figures yet to be released by our endearing friends at Good Smile / Max Factory. I have a few on pre-order at the moment but I'd like to share a few others that I am waiting for to pop up on Hobby Search. The Shana figma has been completed and boy am I in love with the hair on this one; it's transparent and multi-toned. It's slated for a December release while the Nendoroid Shana (which I have on order) is slated for November. Tsuruya figma comes out this month and I have her to ship with my massive bundle which I don't expect to arrive until the beginning of November (if all items are in stock by October). Finally, the Nendoroid I most anticipate, Itoshiki-sensei of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. I can't wait to get this one! I wonder if it comes with a noose? If not, easy enough to make.

Last week I posted my Kagamiku figma pictures. A user on Danny Choo inspired me to photoshop it to look a bit more suitable:
Anime:
The first 2 weeks of October have been incredible (so far) for anime releases. This weekend we had a few that interest me (I've only been able to obtain 2 so far though). Tora Dora looks like a cute show about a violent slob moe, Hyakko follows the traditional slice of life with 4 school girls, Yozakura Quartet looks like Heroes if it were an anime, and Casshern Sins reminds me a little of Ghost in the Shell (and I've seen the recently released movie of the same title). So far I've only been able to get the first two (which have had good impressions so far), and I'll be watching them tonight.

I've yet to start other things on my list, I suppose since I have a week to wait between episodes of these new shows I could start Gurren Lagann?
Personal:
If all this wonderful stuff wasn't enough, yesterday I got a brand new display shelf (with sliding glass doors). My dad made it for me as a birthday gift. I took down my old one, dusted down my whole room, and rearranged all the figures. It's beautiful. I'll be showing pictures tomorrow, this post is quite enough for today. Tomorrow's another busy school day, projects ahoy, but I'll find time to make a post.

figma Shana now in colour! Thanks for the heads up!
Maybe it's just the lighting, but the transparent colour looks a little dull to me. One way or the other, I can't find excuses not to buy this.
And nice photoshop on the Kagamiku! It looks so much more like to the OVA version (although I have not touched the anime at all so far)!
Only seen Toradora so far, and Clannad. That's a nice Kagamiku picture, you beat me to it XD I was going to do that myself but I got lazy. Looks great though, probably better than I'd have done anyway ^^
I watched raws of Hyakko, Y-Quartet and Kurogane no Linebarrels, still waiting for Eclipse to come up with a Hyakko sub. Y-Quartet is pretty ok for a first episode but it short of fell off the mark thanks to the hype built up around it, for a first episode.
Kurogane no Linebarrels was mecha lulz and generic. Giving it a few more episodes to decide if I want to continue with it. Also waiting for decent subs for Casshern Sins, knowing that I cannot understand more than half or less of any explanation they might give.
Supposedly Chaos;Head was the last show I wanted to catch, but I saw a 30-second CM of Shikabane Hime and now will watch the first episode raw to see how it goes. And Hyakko was pretty lol.
haha wow I thought the kagamiku was real!
good job!
Nope... but that was hilarious!!
She looked funny..Lol!!
It seems like we've been waiting a long long time for the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei nendoroid. I was half worried they might cancel it.
