A Visit to Good Smile Café

Near the end of my trip I finally made the trip to the Good Smile Café situated in Matsudo, just outside of Tokyo. It's in a pretty quiet neighbourhood and during the time of day I went there it only had a few customers (allowing me the opportunity to take my time eating my Black Rock Shooter dessert [below] and take plenty of pictures). Currently the café is heavily themed for the release of the BRS OVA and included a number of BRS-themed selections on the food menu. The dessert was delicious and I enjoyed it while watching the BRS OVA playing on the big screen in front of me.

I was really impressed with the showcase of products available. Although it was predominantly figma and Nendoroid (and not so many of their other product lines), I think most people would be there for the figmas and Nendoroids anyway - and they had almost every one ever released including some of the yet-to-be-released models. I got a chance to see the upcoming Disappearance of Haruhi Nendoroid, the K-ON! Nendoroid-petits, and the new "jointed" Saber Nendoroid.
